Job Title : Senior ServiceNow Architect - Cloud & DevSecOps Integration
Location : Sterling, VA (Onsite)
Clearance Level : TS/SCI CI Poly
Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a visionary ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of a cutting-edge Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) platform. This cloud‑environment supports seamless digital thread integration, tool interoperability, and AI-ready data structures. You’ll be at the heart of a high‑impact technical program, driving innovation across Linux and Windows infrastructure, orchestrated workflows, and secure enterprise computing.
Responsibilities
Architect and maintain ServiceNow infrastructure and APIs in AWS cloud
Design and enforce complex roles and permissions for secure data access
Integrate ServiceNow with IdAM, Active Directory, and LDAP
Lead CI/CD and DevSecOps practices using Foreman, GitLab, Selenium
Develop automated testing plans for functional and security validation
Create and maintain technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams
Present technical solutions to senior leadership and government stakeholders
Troubleshoot across hybrid environments (Linux/Windows)
Collaborate within Agile scrum teams to deliver iterative enhancements
Configure monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk) for ServiceNow visibility
Required Skills & Experience
15+ years of ServiceNow development and architecture experience
DoD 8570 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
ServiceNow Certifications
Minimum of an active TS/SCI CI Poly
Deep expertise in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated testing
Strong understanding of secure cloud architecture (preferably AWS)
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, FlowDesigner, and SAM
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira story decomposition
Proficiency in Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, and Selenium
Solid grasp of Active Directory, LDAP, and secure environment protocols
Ability to create end-to-end visibility using AppDynamics or DynaTrace
Qualifications
Experience with MBSE platforms and digital engineering workflows
Background in cloud optimization and virtualized application integration
Familiarity with IBM ELM, TeamWork Cloud/Cameo, Tableau, and SharePoint
Ability to lead cross-domain technical strategy across infrastructure, security, and cloud services
