About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
DevOps Engineer / SRE
to join our cross-functional product development team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and operability of our DevOps systems and toolsets, driving automation at every level, and embedding SRE principles to proactively remediate issues before they impact SLAs. This is a
hands-on engineering role
that requires deep expertise in DevOps platforms, automation, and infrastructure operations. You will be responsible for maintaining enterprise toolsets, ensuring 100% uptime, and driving continuous improvements through monitoring, scripting, and automation. Key Responsibilities
Ensure high availability and reliability of all DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, xRay). Troubleshoot, perform deep-dive RCA, and resolve platform issues across the DevOps stack. Establish enterprise monitoring and implement SRE principles (SLI/SLO). Develop, automate, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy), Bitbucket, and related tools. Maintain and patch operating systems and DevOps applications. Remediate infrastructure issues (Control-M jobs, backup jobs, cron, shell scripts, alerts). Configure and support infrastructure (SSO, SSL, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, DNS). Collaborate with vendors for upgrades, patching, and technical support. Provide off-hours support (weekends, holidays) when required. Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with
Atlassian stack
(Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and xRay. Expertise in
Groovy scripting , CI/CD pipeline development, and automation. Proficiency in
Unix/Linux shell scripting
and server-side automation. Experience with
DAST tools (HCL AppScan) . Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for pipelines, scripts, and DevOps platforms. Proven ability to install, configure, upgrade, and patch CI/CD toolsets. Comfortable providing after-hours support when necessary. Nice-to-Have
Knowledge of
SRE best practices
and implementing SLIs/SLOs. Experience with enterprise infrastructure (network, storage, security, operations). Ability to design and execute DevOps strategies in complex, matrixed organizations. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across development communities.
