As a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will represent the firm in complex commercial litigation matters, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to client service. Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of commercial litigation including research, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlement, and trial preparation. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of commercial legal issues. Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with business objectives. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the company, advising on potential impacts and compliance strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to manage risks and mitigate potential legal liabilities. Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success. Active membership in good standing with NY State Bar. Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills. Proficient in legal research and litigation strategy. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. High level of professional ethics and integrity. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in using legal software and technology tools. Interested in hearing more?
