Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect on the Digital Native Strategic team to shape the future of the Data & AI landscape by working with premier data engineering and data science teams. This role focuses on digital-first, cloud-native customers that rely on data and AI at global scale, including notable names in technology and digital services. Responsibilities Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership, helping customers understand how Databricks solves their business problems. Develop your book of business with account strategies and execute them to solve customers and prospects’ business problems using Databricks. Consult on Big Data architectures, implement proofs of concept for strategic projects spanning data engineering, data science and machine learning, and SQL analytics workflows; validate integrations with cloud services, homegrown tools, and third-party applications. Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support customers and users. Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks-inspired open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) across the developer community. What We Look For 7+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, pre-sales/consulting, or a related role. Experience building distributed data systems. Proficiency in Python and SQL, including debugging. Experience building solutions with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Expertise in one of the following areas: Data Engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow) Ability to travel to customers within the region. [Desirable] Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research). Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
