Aspirus Regional Cancer Center in Wausau, WI is seeking a
CLINICAL DIETITIAN
to join our
MEDICAL ONCOLOGY
team. The Clinical Dietitian provides nutritional services to patients and/or families including assessment of nutritional status, nutritional care planning, counseling and evaluation. Interacts with other health care team members in information exchange for planning and delivering appropriate patient care. Provides patient, staff and community education. HOURS:
Full-Time or 0.8 FTE, 64 hours every 2 weeks. Day Only. Experience / Qualifications
Knowledge of nutrition standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND) accredited program in dietetics. Recent hospital-based experience in clinical nutrition necessary to enhance and develop skills, with one year of experience in clinical nutrition care beneficial. Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and Certified Dietitian by the State of Wisconsin; or registry eligible status, with successful completion of the registration exam within 6 months of hire. Member of AND recommended. Possesses good written and verbal communication skills. Employee Benefits
