Overview
As the Commercial Development Manager for Advanced Therapy Solutions - Northeast, you will drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships across the Greater Boston area. This strategic, results-focused role requires effective territory management, deep customer engagement, and skilled use of Salesforce (SFDC) to support sales execution and planning. You will lead efforts to expand Sartorius' presence in the Cell, Gene, DNA/RNA markets by promoting our Advanced Therapy Solutions portfolio to biopharma, biotech, CDMO, academic, and hospital accounts. Success depends on understanding complex customer needs, communicating product value clearly, and identifying new business opportunities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop targeted sales strategies and stay current with industry trends to fuel sustained growth. You must be located within a commutable distance to Boston, MA.
What You Will Accomplish Together with Us
Promote the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets Develop and execute a territory growth plan in collaboration with sales management Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities using strategic planning and available resources Travel within your territory (up to 50%) to visit customers and attend trade shows Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, and executives Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, all customer interactions and sales activities ensuring that all customer and opportunity information is up-to-date and accurately entered in the CRM system Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotes Collaborate across teams to grow shared accounts and increase overall company sales Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
What Will Convince Us
B.S. in Life Sciences or Engineering is required (higher level of education would be beneficial) Minimum 3 years customer-facing experience, with preferable laboratory / process-based experience in Cell & Gene therapy market Hands-on knowledge with CRM tools Self-motivated , energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the territory Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment

Salary range is $105,000-$125,000 (depending on experience, skill set, education and location), plus up to 30% Sales incentive plan, and a car allowance.
