**POSITION SPECIFICS**The **Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA** is hiring a **Human Research Technologist** for a new 5 year research study, funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, examining how to reduce aggression and irritability in youth. The human research technologist will work with Dr. James Waxmonsky alongside a team of research technologists in order to successfully meet study goals ().Duties include recruiting/scheduling research participants, ordering supplies, administering study assessments, adhering to regulatory procedures, collecting EER/ERP and survey data and assisting with manuscript preparation. Experience with EEG/ERP data collection and survey development in REDCap is preferred but not required as these skills can be acquired as part of training. This is a 40-hour per week position (Monday-Friday), with some evening hours required.
Work location is the Penn State Health Medical Group Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic, 22 Northeast Drive, Hershey PA. **MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS**Associate DegreeNo prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.Required Certifications:None###
**BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES**This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.###
