Waterbury Radiation Oncology Associates is looking for the next future partner to join our group of three radiation oncologists serving the central Connecticut communities located at the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center and Bristol Radiation Oncology Center. We will be interviewing interested candidates this coming ASTRO 2025 in San Francisco. The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center is a beautiful facility located in Waterbury, CT as a joint venture between Waterbury Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital. We have a state-of-the-art facility currently being updated with two brand new matched, state-of-the-art Elekta linear accelerators. We have a dedicated Cannon CT simulator and a PET/CT simulator on premise. All planning is Ray Station with MIM contouring/image fusion suite. We have two full time physicists and two full time dosimetrists. In the clinic we have two nurses, medical assistant, and 3 administrative assistants with a dedicated nutritional and social support team. We have an enthusiastic team who share a passion of taking care of the patients within our community. What makes our practice special is the small half day practice in Bristol, near ESPN. At that facility we own the medical suite and the linear accelerator. We are the only practice in the state of Connecticut that owns technical equipment. This is a really special community, a wonderful area to live and a great place to work. If you are interested in joining our team, we would like to meet you.
