Inpatient/Outpatient Care – Main Teaching Hospitals include East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie; University Medical Center New Orleans; Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System – both in downtown; and two Ryan White Funded HIV Clinics ACGME-accredited ID Fellowship Training Program Research portfolio spans a broad-based community with local focus and global reach. Scope includes COVID-19 vaccine trials, HIV therapeutic trials, and prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Dengue, Zika and other vector-borne diseases Significant Research Collaborations
