Overview

Clinical Nurse Specialist Hybrid role at Providence Health & Services. The CNS demonstrates an advanced level of professional competence in a specialized field of nursing. The CNS works collaboratively with Division and Service Area education, nursing, quality and other clinical leaders to impact care outcomes by providing expert consultation and supporting improvements in patient care delivery. The CNS leads in the development of nursing practice that incorporates established national specialty practice guidelines, regulatory requirements, an interdisciplinary framework, outcomes from nursing and healthcare research, best practice changes in healthcare that impact patient care delivery, and advances in technology that support efficient and effective patient care. Provide expert consultation and support improvements in patient care delivery. Lead development of nursing practice aligned with established national specialty practice guidelines and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with education, nursing, quality, and other clinical leaders to impact care outcomes. Support the integration of interdisciplinary frameworks, nursing research, and best practice changes into patient care. Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of patient care delivery. Required Qualifications

Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License or Oregon Registered Nurse License or Texas Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: Washington Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License or Oregon Advanced Practice - Clinical Nurse Specialist License or Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 3 years experience in area of specialty. Preferred Qualifications

Upon hire: Certification in area of specialty. 2 years Clinical Nurse Specialist experience. Salary Range by Location
