Georgia Psychiatry and Sleep (A Hightop Health Clinic) is a premier outpatient clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for mental health and sleep-related conditions. We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Physician to join our integrative team in Douglasville. There is flexibility to work with children and adolescents at this location if desired. Our clinic locations include Johns Creek, Roswell, Cartersville, Smyrna, Marietta, and mid-town Atlanta. Our Integrative Psychiatry services are designed to treat the whole person, optimizing overall health and well-being with comprehensive and compassionate care. Advanced services include Esketamine (Spravato), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Intensive Outpatient Programming, and IV Ketamine. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders including major depression, bipolar disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co-morbid substance misuse Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans; regularly assess and document patient progress and adjust plans as needed Deliver and supervise interventional treatments (IV Ketamine, TMS); refer patients to IOP programming as indicated Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness, side effects, and patient preferences Provide supportive therapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups; refer to network providers for specialized psychotherapies (DBT, CBT, PET, etc.) Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment effectiveness Order medical workups, laboratory assessments, and diagnostic tests to ensure integrated physical and mental health care Engage in supervision of Advanced Practice Providers; participate in teaching and establishing a supportive APP framework Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Ideal Candidate
Board Certified Completed an accredited four-year psychiatry residency In-depth knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities Desire to learn indications and protocols for psychiatric interventions including TMS, Spravato, ketamine, and Intensive Outpatient Services Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans integrating biological, psychological, social, and existential factors Proficient in conducting supportive therapy with evidence-based approaches; good judgment in referrals to psychotherapy specialists Strong communication with patients, families, and collaborating providers Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records PI278058921 Employment Type & Seniority
