What You’ll Do

As a Sr. Director, Product Strategy, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of a high-impact initiative across the CoverMyMeds specialty ecosystem. Your work will span long-term visioning, cross-functional orchestration, and market-facing innovation. Here’s what to expect: Own and evolve the product strategy for emerging specialty solutions, including build, buy, and partner pathways that align with a 3–5 year vision. Lead development and refinement of product strategy and inform product prioritization across cross-functional teams Champion the end-to-end product experience, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive journey for healthcare provider users across platforms. Drive pricing strategy and new revenue models, including refinement of the current economic framework and long-term monetization approaches. Manage product budget and operating plan, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial accountability. Influence partnership and acquisition strategy, supporting diligence, integration, and synergy efforts as needed. Collaborate deeply with technology leaders to inform platform architecture decisions that support scalability, interoperability, and performance. Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, UX, sales, operations, legal, and corporate strategy to deliver against the CMM playbook. Define and track success metrics, investment frameworks, and performance indicators to guide prioritization and measure impact. Partner closely with UX to ensure user/customer-centered design informs product strategy and roadmap decisions. Advance the long-term data and insights strategy, enabling scalable analytics and decision-making across the product lifecycle. Guide and mentor multi-level product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. Direct the design and execution of experimentation and discovery efforts to advance and inform product roadmap, in collaboration with product delivery Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Typically requires: 13+ years of professional experience 6+ years of leadership experience across product strategy, cross-functional execution, and organizational influence Core Skills

Product Strategy & Management: Proven ability to define and evolve long-term product vision, roadmap, and execution plans End-to-End Experience Design: Expertise in building cohesive, intuitive experiences for healthcare provider users across platforms Revenue & Pricing Strategy: Experience developing pricing models, monetization strategies, and economic frameworks Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management capabilities Partnership & Acquisition Influence: Skilled in vendor management, partnership structuring, and M&A support Cross-Functional Leadership: Effective orchestration across engineering, UX, sales, legal, and operations Change Management: Navigating organizational transformation and aligning teams to strategic goals Data & Insights Strategy: Direct long-term analytics capabilities that influence product decisions for users, customers, and product delivery teams Healthcare Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of stakeholders, workflows, and regulatory dynamics Preferred Skills

Strategic Communication: Ability to translate complex strategies into actionable plans across all levels of the organization Executive Engagement: Comfort interacting with senior leadership and representing product strategy in enterprise-wide forums Negotiation & Modeling: Strong partnership negotiation skills, including financial modeling and deal structuring We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
