Position Highlights & Responsibilities
Independent practice with strong affiliation with a local tertiary care hospital providing a full range of ophthalmology services
Practice features multiple ophthalmologists and is fully supported by a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, APCs, and optometrists
Practice comprehensive ophthalmology with fellowship-trained physicians in cornea, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, and retinal diseases and surgery
State-of-the-art equipment including femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery and access to an off-campus laser suite for LASIK procedures
Provider in this department will have access to multiple surgical suites and privileges at several ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals
Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility

Required Qualifications
Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or an active New York license application
Board Certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Ophthalmology
Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start

New York Residents Only : The salary range for this role is $307,534 to $477,994 per year. Salary range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual base and bonus pay mix varies with experience and performance. Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all applicable minimum wage laws. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions (eligibility requirements apply).
