Program Director II – Arcadia Services at YMCA of Greater Seattle. Location: Arcadia on-site site in Auburn. This role leads the development and oversight of programming at the Arcadia site, including the Drop-In Center, Overnight Emergency Shelter, Healthcare for the Homeless Network (HCHN), and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs. Job Summary

The Program Director II will lead the development and oversight of programming at the Auburn Arcadia site, ensuring continuity of services and effective supervision of program staff. This role is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Arcadia’s Drop-In Center, Overnight Emergency Shelter, HCHN, and PSH programs. The Drop-In Center operates daily from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and provides basic needs; the Emergency Shelter offers low-barrier housing for young adults 18-24 with a standard 90-day stay; PSH includes 15 units with intensive case management. This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the YMCA of Greater Seattle’s social services division.

The Social Impact Center Y serves about 5,000 children, youth, young adults, and families in King County yearly, with programs in housing, behavioral health, foster care licensing, violence prevention, education, and employment. Responsibilities

Establish new program activities and expand programs within the community in alignment with Association and Branch strategic plans for young people. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise housing case managers and volunteers; provide development and leadership. Monitor staff schedules to ensure 24/7 site coverage as contractually required. Collaborate with other Program Directors to support the Drop-In resource center for youth and young adults. Compile program statistics, provide data and reports, monitor and evaluate participation and effectiveness. Provide leadership and support for branch management, annual fundraising, and volunteer committees/boards as assigned. Manage program budgets to ensure proper allocation of resources. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and agencies related to family support programs. Develop, produce, and distribute program information in line with branch marketing plans. Ensure safety procedures are followed and programs comply with YMCA standards, contracts, accreditation, and applicable regulations. Drive high quality programs through ongoing development, evaluation, and staff training. Maintain related facilities and equipment. Participate in South King County On-Call rotation providing after-hours crisis support; on-call approximately every seven weeks. A BA degree or higher in psychology, social services, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing housing contracts such as Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing. 5+ years working with high-risk, system-involved youth/young adults or equivalent community-based services; experience with homelessness, justice, or behavioral health. 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience with teams or volunteers. Experience with program development, leadership development, contract management, and financial management. Knowledge of youth behavior management and abuse prevention. Project management skills with ability to meet timelines and deliverables. Knowledge of program areas, funders, and community partners. Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines; good judgment and discretion; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred knowledge of diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Additional Preferred Qualifications

Lived experience with poverty, child welfare, homelessness, behavioral health, or youth violence. Ability to speak any language in addition to English. Authorized Driver Preference

This role may involve transporting clients as an authorized driver using your own vehicle. Requirements include a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, acceptable driving record, and passing a drug screen. Proof of auto insurance and vehicle registration required. California driver’s licenses are not eligible for this role due to state-specific requirements. Hiring Range: $83,000–$90,000 annually. Full-time benefits: health (Medical, Dental, Vision), Life insurance, retirement with employer contributions, mental health resources, PTO accrual.
