Position Overview
The
Vice President of Growth and Capture (Health)
will serve as a senior executive responsible for driving strategic growth across Prime Physicians’ federal health portfolio. This leader will own the full
business development lifecycle —from market strategy and pipeline development to capture management and proposal leadership. The VP will collaborate with senior leadership, operations, and partner organizations to ensure consistent growth aligned with corporate goals. This role requires deep knowledge of the federal health ecosystem and a proven ability to
build relationships, shape opportunities, and win large-scale healthcare service contracts .
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive
growth strategy
across VHA, HHS, and DHA programs.
Expand Prime Physicians’ market presence through
new contracts, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures .
Conduct market analysis, competitor assessments, and pipeline development to identify priority opportunities.
Align growth strategy with corporate capabilities, mission, and long-term goals.
Capture Management
Lead the
capture process
for high-value opportunities, from early positioning to proposal submission.
Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, teaming partners, and key decision-makers.
Shape solicitations through effective customer engagement and intelligence gathering.
Oversee capture planning, win strategy, teaming agreements, pricing approaches, and proposal solutioning.
Partner with the CEO and executive team to set growth targets and track performance metrics.
Work closely with recruiting, operations, and program teams to ensure delivery capabilities align with pipeline opportunities.
Provide mentorship and guidance to business development and capture teams.
Represent Prime Physicians at industry events, conferences, and agency forums.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Minimum of a
Bachelor’s degree
in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10–15 years of progressive experience in healthcare, with at least 8 years in federal health markets (VHA, HHS, or DHA).
Demonstrated success in
leading capture efforts
and winning multi-million-dollar healthcare service contracts.
Proven record of
business development, proposal leadership, and strategic growth
in federal contracting.
Ideally located in DMV / DC metro area but job is 100% remote.
Knowledge & Skills
In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, procurement processes, and IDIQ/MATOC environments.
Strong network of relationships across VHA, HHS, DHA, and key industry partners.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Performance Metrics
Annual revenue growth driven through successful capture and proposal wins.
Pipeline development and conversion ratio of qualified opportunities.
Expansion of Prime Physicians’ footprint within target agencies (VHA, HHS, DHA).
