Family Medicine Faculty Physician Main Line Health - Bryn Mawr Family Practice Main Line Health, a highly respected not-for-profit health system serving Philadelphia and its western suburbs, is seeking a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join the core teaching team at Bryn Mawr Family Practice, one of the health system’s oldest and most respected residency programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine direct patient care, resident education, and academic leadership within a well-established, community-based program. Responsibilities
Provide outpatient clinical care while also engaging in resident precepting, administrative responsibilities, and newborn nursery coverage. Active participation in all aspects of resident education, including mentoring, evaluation, career guidance, wellness support, lectures, workshops, and supervision of scholarly activity. Contribute to curriculum development, with current priorities focused on enhancing procedures training. Team and environment
As a member of a collaborative team of seven core faculty, multiple specialists, and eighteen residents across a three-year program, the faculty physician will have the opportunity to thrive in an environment that values innovation, mentorship, and academic growth. Eligible candidates may pursue academic appointments at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), with institutional support for the application process. Faculty also benefit from access to Main Line Health’s robust faculty development resources offered through Graduate Medical Education. Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Board certified in Family Medicine. Valid Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one. DEA licensure and ACLS certification are required. Minimum of two years of teaching experience preferred. Demonstrated interest in medical education, curriculum development, and scholarly activity encouraged. Academic and professional opportunities
