Overview
Nemours Children's Health is seeking Pediatric Nephrologists to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
Candidates will be expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage pediatric patients with a wide range of kidney-related conditions including: acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, nephrotic and nephritic syndromes, congenital and inherited renal disorders, electrolyte and acid-base abnormalities and urinary tract anomalies
Manage and oversee dialysis
Provide consultative services to other hospital departments and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
Participate in shared call coverage, including inpatient consults and after-hours responsibilities
Educate patients and families about disease management, medications, nutrition, and treatment plans

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board eligible/certified in specialty
Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
