Overview

Are you a Licensed Testing Psychologist (PSY or LEP) wanting to provide high quality, tailored psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults? Mind Matters is a private practice clinic in San Francisco and Berkeley seeking a Pediatric Testing Psychologist who collaborates with families, schools, and clinicians to promote family harmony, mental well-being, and academic success. You will work in a private practice setting with a collegial team, mentorship, flexible hours (roughly 25-40 hours per week), ample administrative support, and competitive pay. Responsibilities

Providing psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental assessments, including Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) to youth ages 5+ Ensuring that patients have proper resources by referring them to outside therapists, clinics, and other treatment facilities Attending school meetings and providing follow-up parent consultations to support prior clients Participating in twice-monthly in-house team meetings and case consultations New clinicians are expected to see at least two clients per month Initially, each evaluation requires 40-50 hours of clinical time, but decreases as you learn our systems and approach Applicants must be available to test in person at least eight days per month on a regular schedule Interviews, feedback, and report writing can be completed remotely, on a flexible schedule Additional day-to-day tasks will be discussed during the interview process Qualifications

Licensed/License eligible in the State of California Licensed Psychologist (PSY) or Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) Doctoral degree in Clinical, School, or Educational Psychology or related field from an APA-accredited program OR a Master\'s Degree in Education in School Psychology with additional training in clinical psychology and assessment At least two (2) years of experience providing psychoeducational, developmental, and/or neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and/or adults with developmental, learning, attention, social-cognitive, and emotional issues Ideal applicants have experience in one or more of the following: autism assessments, giftedness/2E assessments, developmental assessments for preschool-aged children, college/young adult assessments and/or IEEs Knowledge of current assessment measures and practices Experience collaborating with elementary, middle, and/or high schools Exceptional analytical, communication, and observational skills Bilingual language skills are a plus Benefits & Compensation

Compensation:

$140,000 - $180,000 per year Mind Matters provides all testing materials, equipment, and report writing/administrative support, along with ongoing opportunities for training and consultation. We offer a full benefits package, including paid sick leave for all employees, health insurance for full-time employees, and a 401(k) with matching for all employees who have been with the company for at least a year. If you are early-career or newer to testing, we mentor you within a private practice setting; if you are an experienced Testing Psychologist, you will work in a supportive, collegial private practice environment without the administrative burdens of solo practice.
