Electrical Engineer

in our Boston, MA location. LiRo-Hill is an integrated construction, design and technology solutions firm with a strong track record in construction management, engineering, environmental, architectural, and program management solutions. LiRo-Hill is part of Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), consolidating experienced staff to create a larger, more efficient team serving clients in the public and private sector. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal and healthcare facilities. Conduct site visits, inspections, and field surveys to support design and construction phases. Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams and load calculations. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other team members. Review submittals and RFIs during construction administration. Serve as Project Engineer and Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects. Use engineering and design software to complete assigned work (e.g., Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD). Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. 3-7 years of relevant electrical design experience. Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software. EIT certification; PE license or in progress. Strong communication and organizational skills. Skills

Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from senior engineers to produce expected results. Experience with sustainable design and LEED-certified projects. Self-motivated with the ability to multitask to meet project deadlines. Benefits & Culture
