Data Strategy and Governance Lead Role Overview : As the Data Strategy and Governance Lead at Blackstone, you will architect and implement a data strategy and governance framework that enhances our capabilities across Private Corporate Credit, while serving the needs of our insurance sector clients. You will ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and foster a data-driven culture aligned with strategic objectives in private credit and related financial markets. You will address the complexities of leverage facility management and sponsor coverage in private deals, driving compliance, risk management, and informed decision-making to support operational efficiency and value delivery to investors and stakeholders. Responsibilities
Develop a cohesive data strategy that integrates with the company data strategy to enhance data capabilities and support growth across financial sectors. Design and implement a scalable data architecture for efficient data management, advanced analytics, and business intelligence. Establish and maintain a robust data governance framework with standards for data quality, security, and privacy in line with industry regulations. Lead cross-functional teams to assess and optimize current data systems, driving improvements and adoption of new technologies. Monitor data governance practices and performance to ensure compliance and alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, analytics, compliance, and business units to foster a data-driven culture and accountability. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to keep data strategy and governance ahead of the curve. Qualifications
Extensive experience in data strategy, architecture, and governance, with a strong preference for candidates with a financial services background. 12+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in data management, big data technologies, cloud solutions, and analytics platforms to support strategic business objectives. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and articulate complex data strategies clearly. SQL and Python skills are a major plus. Knowledge of direct lending practices and private financing solutions for companies. Understanding of Senior Direct Lending and Opportunistic Credit and their implications for data strategy and management. Note:

Expected annual base salary range: $165,000 – $275,000. Actual base salary will be determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Roles outside the US follow local compensation practices. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Equal Opportunity:
