Database Engineer (Top Secret or Q Clearance)
Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
Database Engineer
to support a program with the Department of Energy on-site in
Washington, DC . The
Database Engineer
will develop and manage enterprise databases, including new MongoDB databases. This is a long-term job opportunity.
Responsibilities
Design and develop database applications, write and optimize SQL queries, and perform data analysis and troubleshooting.
Design and develop MongoDB for future migration from Oracle.
Ensure integrity and security of the database systems, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation of database designs and architecture.
Collaborate with application developers, DBAs, and various stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience with Database Engineering (Oracle, SQL Server preferred)
Experience developing MongoDB and migrating from RDMBs to MongoDB
Experience with PL/SQL writing custom queries and scripts, Oracle, HTML, CSS
Experience with Unix/Linux scripting, VBA automation
Active TS or Q Clearance
Compensation
Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 depending on experience
