The person in this role will work from the Medtronic facility located in Mounds View, Minnesota.

As a Software Engineering Manager on the Digital Health Product Management team you will lead a team of software systems engineers, business analysts, and product owners. You will continuously improve our product management practices while investing in the growth of each member of the team. We’re building Digital Health platforms that are used across all operating units to deliver Insight Driven Care: personalized healthcare driven by data. Our platforms are used by healthcare providers, patients, data scientists, and R&D/R&T teams. We deliver capabilities such as patient engagement, clinical decision support, care management, healthcare data management, AI/ML enablement, medical image technologies, and interoperability by working directly with partners in the business to understand their needs and develop best in class cloud native technologies.

Check out the accomplishments of our Women in IT group! http://bit.ly/MedtronicWomeninIT**CAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVES*** Lead, coach, and mentor a team of business analysts, software systems engineers, and product owners in the Digital Health space, building enterprise platforms to enable personalized healthcare driven by data* Continually improve our software delivery by maturing our product management practices* Collaborate cross functionally with engineering, security, service delivery, and privacy teams, among other teams, to deliver best in class digital products* Influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, peers, and leadership to remove barriers for the team* Oversee activities of development and design requirements for software systems, applications and software quality assurance for enhancements and new products, including cloud-based platforms, to meet the current and future software needs* Manage activities to ensure programs are appropriately resourced and ensure continuous improvement in technical capability, process, and compliance* Manage scope, cost, and schedule within a cross-functional development team* Create and manage expectations with team members, stakeholders, cross functional teams, and leadership* Select, develop, coach, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function* Responsibilities may include those listed above and other duties as assigned**MUST HAVE** (Minimum Qualifications)* Bachelor’s degree* 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with an advanced degree**NICE TO HAVE** (Preferred Qualifications)* Strongly Preferred:

+ Previous experience in Digital Health, healthcare, or life sciences

+ Passion for developing and coaching a team

+ Experience leading a team of seasoned professionals

+ Proven ability to effectively manage the development of digital products

+ Exceptional problem solving and communication skills

+ Experience as a product owner or lead business analyst on a software engineering team

+ Proven track record successfully managing software development projects

PR) locations (USD):$150,400.00 - $225,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).## ## The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
