Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (WA) We are expanding to support more children and families. We are seeking Licensed Therapists who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of youth. You will be an integrated part of our Mental Health team delivering services virtually to students in partner school districts. What You’ll Do
Provide virtual high-quality, evidence-based mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to an assigned caseload of K-12 students. May diagnose, conduct initial mental health intake assessments, and create individual treatment plans as needed. Conduct clinical screeners and ongoing assessments of student progress. Collaborate with the care management team to ensure a successful transition into Hazel services and identify external transition supports. Obtain credentialing and additional clinical state licenses as requested by Hazel’s licensing and credentialing departments. Be an active member of the clinical team by participating in trainings, meetings, and other activities. Ensure documentation is completed accurately and timely, adhering to guidelines and requirements. Maintain minimum weekly availability and productivity levels established by Clinical Leadership. Provide telehealth crisis consultation for school partners or students as assigned. Willingness/ability to gain licensure in other states as needed (paid for by Hazel) and provide services in those states. Willingness/ability to go through Hazel's credentialing process. Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations. Qualifications
Licensed without restrictions as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC Licensed in WA and in the state you reside Additional licenses in other states desirable Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children Able to obtain an acceptable FBI fingerprint background check upon hire Working knowledge of diagnosis and assessment practices, treatment strategies, and interventions for child and family mental health Telehealth experience preferred Strong technological skills and ability to learn new software and complete digital documentation Effective communication with diverse backgrounds Strong organizational skills for managing information and tasks Ability to gain licensure in other states as needed Willingness to engage in credentialing processes Bi-lingual a strong plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Armenian, Russian, Korean, Tagalog highly desired) Available for 10-month school-year employment Note: If your past experience doesn’t align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. Location: Remote Schedule: Full-time W2 position with two months off in the summer. Monday through Friday with options: Four 10-hour shifts: 9a-7p, 10a-8p, or 11a-9p PST Five 8-hour shifts, with at least two evenings until 7pm Total Compensation and Benefits
Total compensation is market-competitive, with a base salary range of $68,350 - $76,650, plus 401k match, CEU allowance, healthcare coverage, paid time off, cross-licensure sponsorship (if eligible), and other benefits.
