Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physician — Greenville, SC
The Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Prisma Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in the newly established Sickle Cell Center of Excellence. This physician will provide high-quality, comprehensive clinical care for patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to clinical care, research, education, and community engagement within a leading institution.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive outpatient care for patients with SCD as physician staff of the Sickle Cell Center of Excellence.
Participate in the management of the SCD inpatient consult service.
Provide call coverage for the inpatient SCD consult service on a rotating schedule as deemed necessary.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (dedicated social work, psychology, nurse navigation, and physicians) to address the unique needs of the SCD patient population.
Provide necessary coverage for patients with hematologic conditions as deemed appropriate by physician leadership.
