Overview
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Tech for a 26-week travel assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. You will work with a dedicated clinical team and have the opportunity to impact patient care while receiving competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Educate patients on MRI procedures and answer questions Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI equipment; report malfunctions Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol, monitoring for adverse reactions Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust scanning parameters as needed for optimal results Document procedure details, imaging parameters, and patient observations in accordance with hospital policies Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnostics and timely delivery of results Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with infection control and radiation safety policies Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of an MRI Technologist Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization and training One year of experience as an MRI Tech Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT or equivalent certification Current ARMRIT or equivalent certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Benefits
