Athletics Summary
Detailed Description: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Ticket Office at the Jenny Craig Pavilion, working in collaboration with Athletic Facilities management to assist in the administration of the Jenny Craig Pavilion front office. Contributes to the coordination of ticketing procedures and external outreach efforts that drive intercollegiate sports revenue, attendance, and season ticket growth, as well as support for other ticketed and special events held in Athletic facilities. Assists in managing the ticketing platform (PACIOLAN). Duties and Responsibilities
USD Athletic Ticket Office Operations: Supervise daily operations of the Athletic Ticket Office, including processing ticket sales, reconciling deposits, printing and/or digitally distributing tickets, and coordinating supply orders. Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to part-time staff by assisting with scheduling, training, and day-to-day task delegation under the direction of the Director. Manages front office operations for athletic facilities. Conducts outbound sales calls to alumni and potential season ticket holders as assigned. Maintains and updates patron records to support future sales and marketing efforts. Establishes and maintains close relationships with alumni relations, parent relations, University Center, undergraduate student government and various other departments on campus. Works closely with all marketing and development personnel. Plans, implements and develops ticket marketing and promotional incentives with marketing staff (i.e. brochures, etc.). Provides support to the Athletics external affairs unit as needed. Ticketing Support and Revenue Generation Initiatives: Implement ticket sale procedures, pricing plans, and promotional strategies for single-game and season tickets. Maintains and implements operating guidelines for student athlete complimentary tickets. Supports the development and execution of ticket marketing materials and targeted email campaigns in coordination with the External Affairs and Development teams. Responsible for managing online ticket sales for athletic contests and non-athletic events, under guidance from the Director. Establishes and maintains good working rapport with other conference and non-conference ticket managers and administrators. Assists with managing preferred seating plans for basketball, football, baseball and softball season ticket holders. Prepares reports and contributes to the analysis of ticket sales, attendance trends, and season ticket growth. Prepares and provides up-to-date ticket charts and reports upon request to supervisor. Assists in coordinating the design and production of season tickets, packages, and single-game tickets. Helps conduct outreach efforts to support group sales, fan engagement, and community involvement. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required within six weeks of employment Special Conditions of Employment
Availability to work long hours, nights and weekends. Willingness to travel occasionally to away contests, NCAA events and WCC meetings, when appropriate and necessary. Willingness to be on call for short notice events. Minimal opportunities to take extended vacation during peak sports seasons. Background check
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check. Degree Verification Requirement

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. At least one year of ticket center operations experience in a collegiate, professional or similar environment required. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with ticketing systems strongly preferred. Experience with athletic season ticket holders strongly preferred. Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations strongly preferred. Strong customer service background preferred. Performance Expectations – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, employees, and the general public Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and work with a broad range of people using tact and diplomacy Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to remain calm under pressure Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle several major projects simultaneously Understanding of basic accounting principles Strong customer service skills background and experience Strong leadership skills and ability to provide guidance in the management of athletic camps, facilities and personnel Salary
