We take a hands-on approach to investing, partnering closely with management teams to drive performance and scale.
Position Overview The Director of Investments will be a senior member of the deal team, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments. This role requires strong financial acumen, transaction experience, and a deep understanding of industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, analytical, and capable of leading deals from origination through exit.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate new investment opportunities in industrial manufacturing and distribution.
Lead due diligence efforts, including financial modeling, market analysis, and operational assessments.
Structure and negotiate deal terms in collaboration with legal and financial advisors.
Present investment theses and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
Manage relationships with intermediaries, business owners, and industry contacts.
Oversee post-close value creation initiatives in partnership with portfolio company leadership.
Monitor portfolio performance and support exit planning and execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
7-10+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or management consulting.
Strong transaction experience, including deal sourcing, diligence, and execution.
Deep understanding of industrial manufacturing and distribution business models.
Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Willingness to work onsite and travel as needed to evaluate opportunities and support portfolio companies.
