Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Developer (Python) with BI expertise. Essential duties and responsibilities

(illustrative and not exhaustive): Create actionable business intelligence dashboards that lead to improvements in processes, and hardware and software products. Create Wireless Network RAN KPI dashboards and supporting data sources to improve team efficiency in monitoring and measuring network performance. Analyze data using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Python/R by automating reports or analysis that lead to actionable business insights. Develop, design, and maintain interactive Tableau analytics dashboards that promote self-service analytics. Utilize Tableau functionalities (Extracts, Parameters, Contexts, Filters, Actions, Charts, Trends, Forecasting, Clustering, Sets, Groups, Table/LOD Calculations, Maps) to create advanced reports and executive dashboards. Create map visualizations using Tableau geospatial features. Develop and promote automation through email or stored reports. Write complex, efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to prepare data sources for Tableau. Query data and merge information from diverse data sources to create rich datasets for better decision-making. Develop data pipelines using Delta Live Tables on Databricks to load and transform data for optimal data movement. Create and maintain Delta Live Tables (DLT) and Tableau extracts where necessary. Collaborate with business teams to gather and understand report and dashboard requirements. Use agile methodologies to plan, manage, and deliver high-quality products and services. Track project status and deliverables; provide regular updates to stakeholders. Plan and organize demos and product testing. Train, mentor, and support Tableau users. Support ongoing technology evaluation processes and proof of concept projects.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and/or Qualifications Tableau Desktop Specialist certification is required. Tableau Certified Data Analyst certification preferred. Tableau Server Certified Associate certification is a plus. 5+ years of experience using Tableau in a corporate environment and developing complex dashboards; Tableau Prep experience preferred. 7+ years of SQL, Python, ETL, Airflow experience; minimum 2 years of AWS and Databricks experience required. 2+ years of Alteryx experience; Alteryx Designer Expert certification preferred. Knowledge in statistical concepts preferred. Strong understanding of BI application design and development principles. Advanced knowledge of creating custom SQL queries; ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum; Scrum certification a plus. Ability to analyze high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources. Understanding of data quality, cleansing and transformation processes. Ability to extract insights from data to inform business decisions. Experience in end-to-end BI report/dashboard implementation and automation. Telecommunications industry background is a plus; experience with wireless infrastructure providers or operators is desired. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated research experience. Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to work well in a team; excellent people and project management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to lead and mentor colleagues. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
