Responsibilities
Oversee the integration of clinical services and milieu management (client supervision) to support program goals.
Meet with supervisors, managers, vendors, department officials, or other entities to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Provide integration effort updates to higher level management with recommendations for cross functional initiatives.
Audit, monitor, and evaluate assigned program services to ensure contractual and licensure compliance, and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and employee relations regulations and laws. Initiate corrective actions to meet specifications for quality, quantity, schedule and cost.
Oversee client services by auditing client records, reviewing discharge plans, and conducting case reviews to ensure consistent and timely documentation of reports and investigations.
Develop program budget projections, monitor expenditures, and initiate corrective actions to resolve variances; review financial reports for contract utilization and income/expenses to ensure accuracy and budgetary compliance.
Prepare regular and special reports or analyses on financial status and program results for planning and evaluation.
Assist management in developing and refining program policies and procedures; research, plan, approve, and implement new or enhanced program services per contract to maximize resource utilization.
Manage and lead assigned personnel to promote commitment to the organization’s mission and staff development.
Interview, hire, evaluate performance, and handle disciplinary actions as needed; assist managers in resolving employee relations problems.
Responsible for quality control of programs and services across multiple facilities in the assigned area.
Maintain the work schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any of the social sciences, criminal justice, public health, or business administration. Master's degree in psychology, social work, mental health, or substance abuse counseling, or closely related field, preferred.
Two (2) years of relevant experience in a therapeutic community setting or management experience as a Program Director / Clinical Supervisor with TC experiential training; or a combination of equivalent education and life experience.
One of the following is required: Current Certified Addictions Professional (CAP); or Masters Certified Addictions Counselor (MCAP); or Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJAP) OR Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Valid local driver's license, insurance and good driving record required. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong knowledge of health administration regulations and standards, program funding and financing, and applicable laws and regulations; in-depth knowledge of management theories and techniques.
Strong communication skills to exchange information with treatment teams, clients, families, and outside vendors and agencies.
Working knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations governing health records confidentiality.
Strong leadership skills and strong critical thinking, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
High level problem-solving and analytical abilities to plan and direct activities within a geographic region.
Ability to organize, evaluate, and plan administration of diverse programs dispersed across a region.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and move about facilities for extended periods to monitor and interact with clients.
Ability to record, proofread, and analyze documents and data; prepare and analyze figures.
Ability to communicate with others and present information to groups or individuals.
Ability to use a keyboard and computer systems to receive, retrieve, and audit information.
Ability to respond to telephones, hear alarms, and detect unusual noises.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and comply with traffic signals and signs.
Compensation (based on experience and credentials)
Range begins at $86,823 annually
Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP): eligible to participate in next fiscal year 2025 with potential up to 15% of annual base salary based on organization results and individual performance
