Pay range:

$60,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year Core Responsibilities

Administrative Leadership:

Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of the Board office; implement policies and procedures adopted by the Board; manage office systems, technology and recordkeeping; maintain official records including licenses and disciplinary actions; maintain regulatory compliance with WV Code Chapter 30, Article 13A, Title 23 Legislative Rules, and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Licensing and Enforcement:

Process applications for licensure and renewals (including state-specific exams); maintain the state-specific exam database with confidentiality, integrity and security; coordinate with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying for national exam applications and test results; maintain records regarding continuing education compliance; coordinate complaint investigations and disciplinary actions with affected parties, legal counsel, investigators and the Board; develop and maintain the licensee management software provided by the Board. Financial Management:

Prepare and manage the Board's annual budget; collect, deposit and record fees; comply with state financial reporting requirements; utilize wvOASIS to its full extent. Board Support:

Prepare agendas, minutes and materials for Board meetings; serve as liaison between the Board, licensees, state agencies, and the public; prepare the Annual Report and other required reports; develop and maintain the Board's website. Experience:

Experience with financial accounting principles, spreadsheets, word processing, and databases; experience with budgeting and financial management. The following is highly recommended but not required: Experience working with a membership management software. Experience working with WV agencies and systems such as wvOASIS, Office of Technology, Division of Personnel, and WV Auditor. Experience working for a Chapter 30 Board.
