Associate Attorney - Wage and Hour

Job OverviewA law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with expertise in wage and hour litigation to join their team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in handling class and PAGA actions, demonstrating strong litigation skills and a commitment to client service.DutiesDefend class and PAGA claims in state and federal courts.Conduct document and data reviews related to wage and hour claims.Prepare case evaluations for clients in class/PAGA actions.Prepare and respond to discovery requests in class/PAGA matters.Conduct and defend depositions.Engage in law and motion work, including arbitration and dispositive motions.Prepare for and attend mediations, including drafting mediation briefs.Attend court hearings and argue dispositive motions.RequirementsAdmitted to practice law in the State of California.3-7 years of experience in wage and hour litigation.Arbitration and/or trial experience.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.CertificationsCalifornia State Bar admission.SkillsExcellent research and writing skills.Strong litigation and client service skills.BenefitsCompetitive benefits package.
