Overview

Account Executive, Field Sales at Planful. This is a quota-carrying role focused on generating new business, managing relationships with target accounts, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling of Planful’s software. Responsibilities

Drive new business sales revenue by prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities with target accounts within the assigned territory. Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads, tracking and reporting progress against assigned quotas and revenue targets. Provide the management team with reports on customer needs or interests, potential new leads, and competitive propositions. Develop and maintain relationships with target accounts and stakeholders, understand business needs, and articulate Planful\'s value. Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the Planful tool. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Planful\'s solutions. What You Bring to the Table

Located in the Pacific or Mountain time zone of the United States or Canada. 8+ years of SaaS field sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years selling into Office of the CFO. Track record of exceeding quota in field or hybrid sales, ideally in high-growth environments. Experience selling to the Office of the CFO or into finance/FP&A, ideally offering solutions such as EPM, ERP, or analytics platforms. Polished communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technology into clear, business-aligned value. Collaborative mindset with comfort navigating matrixed sales cycles and engaging with executive-level stakeholders. Base salary band for this role is $135,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This position is eligible for bonuses/commissions. Details about company benefits can be found at planful.com.
