R-0000045904**Job Description Summary**The IS Senior Manager, Portfolio Execution, is responsible for driving consistent, high-quality execution of priority projects across MUSC’s Information Systems (IS) portfolio, including initiatives within Workday, Research Education Systems, core IS functions, and the Community Connect program. This enterprise-facing role integrates closely with the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) to align priorities, processes, and methodologies across the IS organization.

The Manager will maintain a customer centric approach, with experience in developing and executing statement of work-based projects, driving rigor and delivering impactful outcomes in partnership with team members.**Job duties:*** Manage and lead a high-performing team of project managers, technical business analysts, and project coordinators to drive successful delivery across the IS project portfolio.* Provide oversight and guidance for IS-led projects, serving as an escalation point to resolve issues and ensure project success.* Collaborate with the ePMO to support enterprise-wide project execution and ensure adherence to shared methodologies and standards.* Guide matrixed project teams across the IS department, promoting best practices in project management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.* Define, implement, and refine project and portfolio management methodologies.* Lead improvements to the internal project intake and evaluation process.* Ensure the successful execution of projects for MUSC’s Community Connect customers, as well as new implementations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.* Partner with the ServiceNow team to optimize the use and functionality of the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) application for IS users.* Work with the IS senior leadership team to understand and define the strategic direction, ensuring the project portfolio aligns with internal organizational objectives.* Coordinate with service delivery teams to appropriately route non-project work and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve service delivery.**Required Education/Skills/Work Experience:**A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 8 years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 6 years of experience . Prior leadership experience in a complex, matrixed environment is preferred.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, coupled with strong presentation and communication abilities.Knowledge of standard project management methodologies and best practices with ability to apply theory practically based on situation.
