Bon Secours in the beautiful coastal Hampton Roads/Tidewater Region of Virginia is seeking a fellowship trained Cardiovascular Electrophysiology (MD) to join our established group in the region. The physician would provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to include testing, diagnosing, and treating abnormal heart rhythms. Must be trained in Watchman’s, ablations, and device implants. An experienced staff is in place for practice support. New fellowship grads are welcome to apply! Practice Locations:
Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth VA and Bon Secours Cardiology, Norfolk VA Job Details
Full-time – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Call Schedule 1:6 weekends with weekday rotation Evening cardiology call 5:00pm to 7:00am, shared with a large provider team including Interventional and APC Average patients per day: 20 or more Patient Range: Adult & Geriatric EMR: EPIC fully integrated MyChart for Virtual Health to include Telemedicine as appropriate LPN/CME and Device Coordinator are part of the clinical support team Special Skills & Training: Must be Fellowship Trained Experience with Watchman’s, Complex Ablations and Device Implants/Explants welcome Mentorship available in practice Requirements
Must have completed a U.S.-Based Residency Program Fellowship Trained in Cardiology-Electrophysiology Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABMS/ABIM Authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. Current unrestricted Virginia license or eligible for Virginia licensure Compensation & Benefits
