The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama Whiddon College of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained, BE/BC orthopaedic tumor surgeon, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of tumor diseases and complex joint and limb reconstruction to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The practice maintains a Level I Trauma Center with over 2,000 trauma admissions per year, and the region's largest trauma center. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in academic surgery in the areas of patient care, resident and student education, and trauma-related clinical and translational research. For applicants interested in physician leadership opportunities, we will support an opportunity to receive an MBA for Healthcare Professionals at USA Mitchell College of Business. Candidates who have completed an accredited training program and are eligible for and maintain an unrestricted Alabama medical license are eligible to apply. Qualifications
