Dermatologist & Mohs Surgeon, Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine – Roanoke, VA: Carilion Clinic (CC), Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM), and the Department of Medicine, Section of Dermatology & Mohs Surgery in Roanoke, Virginia are searching for a Dermatologist / Mohs Surgeon to join an established team of 14 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in an academic, multisite practice. This position will be split between Mohs surgery and General Dermatology. The Carilion Clinic – Virginia Tech Carilion Dermatology Residency welcomes 2 residents each year, has a 100% board pass rate since its inception, and boasts a robust dermatopathology curriculum. Teaching, research, and mentorship opportunities abound. Faculty appointments are through the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Additional research opportunities exist through the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute and VTCSOM medical students, with their 4-year longitudinal research requirement. Across the street from the main dermatology site is Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and Children’s Hospital, our flagship 763-bed Level 1 trauma and academic health center. We provide the highest level of comprehensive dermatologic, cosmetic, and micrographic surgery & dermatologic oncology to our catchment area of over 1 million people.
