We are looking for a patient–centered Endocrinologist to join our team of 5 Physicians (including 1 Pediatric Endocrinologist), 5 NP/PAs and 18 additional staff. Inpatient coverage at Essentia Health–St. Marys Medical Center, a 344–bed tertiary care hospital, Level I Adult Trauma Center – or – Essentia Health–Duluth, a 165–bed hospital, both located on the same connected campus. Call: rotation including weekends; coverage includes inpatient diabetes care. This will be openly discussed as part of the interview process. Call is in effect for providers during office business hours only and triaged through our RN team first. An NP/PA team covers all hospital glucose management. Capability to apply and analyze latest diabetes related devices including pumps, sensors, and meters. Primarily outpatient practice: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Some outreach possible. No evening, weekend, or holiday call. Patient volume/day: 10–12. Qualifications
BC/BE in Endocrinology, or BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a strong interest in Diabetes care. Location
Duluth, MN at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro population: 125,000 Regional service area: 460,000. Comprised of 20 clinics and 7 Hospitals Urban and Rural Options for Living Numerous outdoor recreational activities including paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing Compensation & Benefits
$309,000 for BC/BE Endocrinologist. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production–based compensation.
