The Enterprise Specialty Educator is a registered professional nurse who demonstrates specialty expertise in clinical nursing and provides ongoing support and development for AdventHealth clinical associates. The role includes developing, implementing, and evaluating a program of education for the specialty, coordinating orientation with facility departments, maintaining staff competency, and providing continued education at unit and facility levels. Education initiatives are identified by needs assessments, audits, data-informed decision making, and regulatory requirements, and governed by policies, procedures, standards, and regulations. Responsibilities are determined through collaboration with Enterprise Clinical Specialists, Facility-based educators, and providers to enhance the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care. This position may deploy to sites as needed and reports centrally at the enterprise level. The value you\'ll bring to the team

Acts as a change agent in support of specialty education initiatives. Advances healthcare practice by supporting the integration of policies, procedures, and standards. Is knowledgeable in current healthcare trends and related legislative issues. Incorporates evidence-based practice and adult learning theory in project and course content. Identifies educational needs and opportunities using data from the organization such as regulatory requirements and employee/customer evaluation data. Collaborates with staff and management to differentiate between educational versus performance/compliance issues to design an effective plan of action. Seeks continuous learning opportunities and continuing education in staff development and clinical expertise. Demonstrates competency in the use of technology. Utilizes Scope and Standards of Nursing Professional Development. The expertise and experiences you\'ll need to succeed
