Director Application & Product Marketing - Ilumination

Description of the tasks: Lead and manage the Application Engineering and Product Marketing team for the AMEC region (US, Canada, Mexico and South America) to support customer design-in activities across diverse lighting applications such as professional, horticultural, and industrial segments in cooperation with the sales team and partners. Responsibility for upstream marketing and application engineering by identifying customer requirements, competitive, long-term market and technology trends (5+ years horizon), conducting feasibility studies, and contributing to the strategic product roadmap for the region. Develop and execute Go-to-Market strategies (including the launch of new products with technical marketing content) for the region, with a particular focus on new technologies and the Mass Market / Distribution business Build and maintain management-level relationships with key customers and distribution partners Responsibility for achieving sales targets and market share in the AMEC region Determination of sales funnel targets and joint implementation with the sales and marketing teams Responsible for the regional illumination forecast process Managing the internal interfaces to Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain and Quality. Maintain active engagement with industry associations, academic institutions, and standards bodies to stay at the forefront of lighting technology developments.
