The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an experienced Director of Retail to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the successful and profitable retail operations at Grand Canyon National Park. Our ideal candidate is experienced at creating and executing on retail strategies for multi-unit operations. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $104,100 - $140,500 / year In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Partner with corporate retail support to develop a retail strategy Execute merchandise plans at the store level, working in partnership with the Buying team and the Director of Merchandise Maintain seasonal floor plans and visual merchandising standards Ensure inventory accuracy through effective management of stock flow, adjustments, and spoilage, while maintaining alignment with the company’s pricing strategy Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained Pay close attention to sales and profit results as well as sales leadership training, visual merchandising, store standards, customer service, budget development, and expense control Develop store managers to become proactive in running and controlling their individual businesses through training, development of operational standards, leadership, and support Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local laws Support and ensure compliance with Delaware North\'s environmental initiatives, as well as customer service and operational standards programs Operate a company vehicle when necessary More about you

Minimum of 8 years high-volume, multi-unit, senior-level retail management experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, equivalent education or experience Experience in grocery is recommended but not required Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Familiar with various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems Established assessment and decision-making skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization Must have a valid driver’s license Shift details
