Overview Exciting opportunity for a Managing Veterinarian to join our team! North Country Veterinary Services in Oswego, NY is looking for a Managing Veterinarian. This is a great opportunity for existing managing veterinarians or experienced associates looking to advance into a leadership position.

Responsibilities Partner with the Hospital Manager to drive financial performance and cultivate a collaborative team environment. You'll receive support from the Divisional Leadership Team for practice management training and resources to lead a best-in-class clinic. Responsibilities include advancing medical care, leading staff, financial management, and growing the practice through innovation and community involvement.

At North Country Veterinary Services in Oswego, you’ll find a dedicated team of skilled technicians and support staff. With three licensed technicians and four veterinary assistants, we are fully equipped to assist our doctors in providing a wide range of services, from routine wellness care to urgent medical attention. Our surgical expertise encompasses everything from standard spays and neuters to advanced cruciate repair.

As the largest veterinary clinic in Oswego, we prioritize delivering top-notch care that is affordable for our clients. Our team is deeply rooted in the community, and we cater to a diverse client base, ranging from long-time residents to students at the State University of New York at Oswego.

Resources and Support We offer a variety of resources via NVA to help you run an effective practice, including recruiting, marketing, HR, legal, and IT support, an industry-leading new graduate mentorship program, and access to the veterinarian-operated Medical Advisory Board.

Benefits and Compensation Compensation:

Base salary of $120,000- $150,000

Production-based bonuses

Generous signing bonus

Health, dental, and vision. 401K with match. Vacation, sick time, and paid holidays. Paid State License, DEA, and Professional dues/fees. Relocation compensation is available for those candidates who do not live in the area currently.
