Pediatrics Neonatologist

TPMG is seeking a full-time BE / BC Pediatric Neonatologist physician to join our team in Modesto, CA. The NICU at Kaiser Permanente Modesto is a California Children's Services (CCS) certified community level 3 NICU with 24 beds. We offer level 3 care including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and ROP laser surgery. Our team has access to pediatric subspecialists 24/7 via telemedicine or on-site. Babies requiring cardiothoracic surgery or ECMO are referred outside of the Kaiser Permanente network. Our hospital handles approximately 4,000 deliveries annually, with an NICU average daily census of 13, peaking during summer at 15-20. Our department comprises 5 neonatologists and 9 Pediatric Hospitalists. We provide care in the NICU, labor and delivery, and the newborn nursery, along with opportunities for committee and QI project involvement.
