Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist - Manhattan PC

The Adult Psychiatrist will be responsible for : Admission and discharge of patients, including psychiatric examination, evaluation, and assessment. Facilitating group / family education and therapy. Ordering suicide precautions. Providing treatment of children and adolescents, including individual, supportive, behavioral, cognitive, and insight-oriented therapy. Ordering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providers. Performing first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions. Performing other duties, as needed. Qualifications : At least 1 year of post-residency experience. License to practice in the State of New York. Board eligible or certified in Adult Psychiatry. Valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
