Position Overview
The Medical Director will: Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to associate veterinarians and veterinary staff Deliver high-quality medical care including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and preventative services Oversee implementation of medical protocols, ensure compliance, and drive quality improvement Perform surgeries, dental procedures, and advanced diagnostics as needed Partner with hospital administration on strategic goals, staffing, and operational performance Foster a team-focused, inclusive culture that encourages growth, learning, and collaboration Maintain a flexible, sustainable work schedule that supports work-life balance Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution Valid California veterinary license Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach Strong surgical skills preferred Previous leadership or mentorship experience a plus A passion for building a strong team culture and delivering outstanding care What the Practice Offers
