Job Title:
General Dentist – Outpatient Clinic
Schedule:
4-day workweek, 10-hour shifts (Mon–Thu 7 AM - 5:30 PM, or Tue - Fri)
Pay:
$135 – $155/hour
Summary:
Seeking an experienced General Dentist to join the outpatient dental clinic. This role focuses on providing oral healthcare to adult patients. With pediatric dentists on staff, this position is dedicated to adult care. The clinic uses Dentrix EMR and offers full support, including a dental assistant for every chair and two hygienists (one currently staffed).
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, infections, and oral cancer.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, sealants, and routine cleanings.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate treatment records, progress notes, and regulatory documentation in Dentrix EMR.
Ensure compliance with hospital standards and best practices for patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
