Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a consulting basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact on a high-visibility project and contribute to our clients’ success.
Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Use advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas) to analyze data and streamline processes.
Coordinate with external auditors and support annual financial audits.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for management.
Minimum Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance
At least 5 years of experience in accounting
Direct management experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
CPA preferred, but not required
Reports To Controller
Pay Range $60-$75 per hour
Compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate. Our full-time Consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K as well as PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by localities where they reside or work.
