Senior FP&A Analyst

Cubic Defence (UK & Europe) . The Senior FP&A Analyst supports global business planning, financial analysis, forecasting, reporting and accounting functions. This role requires understanding the business and its cost drivers, and familiarity with each product line and related risks impacting financial goals. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Provides consistent reporting on key business financial performance across all business units; maintains financial and operational KPI reports. Supports the annual budgeting process and prepares monthly budget vs. actual and year-over-year reports. Provides quality analysis, insight and financial information to management. Develops strong working relationships and understanding of the company’s products and services to facilitate teamwork through business development and contract negotiation cycles. Supports reviews of business performance and analyzes results. Prepares other financial reports or analysis, as required. Supports ad hoc requests on an as-needed basis. Minimum Job Requirements
Four-year degree in finance/accounting, plus a minimum five years of experience in a financial reporting or cost accounting environment. Specific previous experience with long-term contract accounting, foreign currency translation and financial planning preferred. Minimum of four years’ experience with general ledger, P&L and Balance Sheet. Working knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting standards and financial reporting requirements. Ability to interface with all levels of workers, management, internal and external auditors. Possess strong skills using Excel and PC based accounting systems. Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining excellent and accessible documentation. Ability to use a personal computer for extended periods of time. Exude a can-do attitude and strong dedication to providing quality service to management. Strong organization and planning skills. Cubic Pay Range $85,000.00 - $100,000.00* + benefits. The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
