$80,000 - $95,000 (DOE) Law firm accounting experience required Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities accurately and timely. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and responding to auditor inquiries. Ensure compliance with firm policies and accounting standards. Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and administrative staff to provide financial insights. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Law firm accounting experience required (2+ years preferred). 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong GL exposure. Proficiency in accounting software (experience with law firm ERP systems a plus). Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both finance and non-finance teams. What We Offer
