Tax Provision

Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provisions under ASC 740, including book-tax differences, valuation allowance analysis, stock-based compensation, uncertain tax positions (FIN 48), and return-to-provision adjustments. Prepare and document quarterly and annual tax footnote disclosures for external financial statements Manage tax account reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal control standards. Tax Compliance

Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of U.S. federal, state, local, and foreign income tax returns in collaboration with external providers. Manage quarterly estimated tax payments, extensions, and other required filings. Coordinate the collection and review of foreign documentation in support of U.S. federal returns, including foreign tax returns, tax payments, and intercompany transactions. Review U.S. international tax compliance calculations and filings (e.g., GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT, and Forms 5471, 8858, and related disclosures). Audit, Controls & Process Management

Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and maintain strong internal controls over tax processes. Support external audits and provide accurate, timely documentation. Manage and enhance the use of tax provision software (e.g., ONESOURCE) and identify opportunities for process improvements. Planning, Forecasting & Advisory

Prepare quarterly projections and maintain forecasted tax expense models. Work closely with the Tax Director on tax planning, strategic initiatives, forecasting, and ongoing audits. Monitor and assess global tax law changes and their impact on the company's tax positions. Partner with Accounting, Legal, Finance, and Business Operations teams to assess the tax implications of business decisions. The annualized base salary for this role will range between $130,000 and $145,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
