Project Manager - Senior Electrical Engineer (Project Management) — GPI seeks a Project Manager - Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Fairfax, VA office. As a Senior Engineer, you will represent GPI in all interactions with clients and project teams. You will supervise, coordinate, and assign various projects to be performed by the team. GPI is a multi-discipline engineering firm that has been providing planning, design, and construction services for transportation infrastructure and building system projects throughout the United States for over 50 years. Responsibilities
Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects Design building electrical distribution, fire alarm, and security systems Determine schedules and details required for the project and review them with the project team Ensure the flow of information between disciplines Prepare reports and feasibility studies Support developing electrical standards Prepare cost estimates and specifications Qualifications
B.S. degree in Electrical engineering or similar from an accredited institution 10+ years' experience working in the consulting industry Experience working in the MEP Engineering Industry with 2+ years of supervisory experience Hands-on design experience using AutoCAD and REVIT
